Sacred Music as Healing Frequency and Spiritual Service

Early Years

My musical journey began long before I understood the depth of my gift. My childhood home was filled with harmony, laughter, and the sound of my young voice echoing down hallways. My father, a constant source of support, faithfully brought me to choir practice each week. It was here, in this sacred environment of hymns and harmonies, that a natural talent first caught attention. When the choir director heard a tone impossibly high for the tenor section and discovered me singing beside my father, everything changed. I was immediately placed next to renowned soprano Barbara Ragusa, whose influence shaped my vocal identity and disciplined my technique with love and precision.

High School to Las Vegas

In high school, I developed rapidly. My unusual blend of emotional depth and technical intuition was recognized, and in high school I was introduced to classical music that elevated my abilities to new levels. By my early twenties, driven by courage and an inner calling, I left my hometown and stepped onto the stages of Las Vegas. There, I performed across multiple casinos, moving effortlessly through classical arias, jazz, rock, and show tunes. This period expanded my confidence and versatility, solidifying my understanding that my voice was not limited by genre — it was guided by purpose.

European Sacred Experiences

Touring Europe with the Brevard Chorale brought me into cathedrals where sound behaves like liquid light. The experience of singing inside ancient sacred structures awakened something powerful within me. When I stepped into St. Peter’s Basilica and released my voice into the vast chambers of the Vatican, I felt an unmistakable alignment of destiny. In that moment, music, spirit, and divine presence converged in a way that reshaped my understanding of my own gift.

A Life of Musical Service

I devoted more than 30 years to serving as a church music director, using my voice as a spiritual tool to uplift communities. I directed choirs, ensembles, theatrical productions, and holiday programs — always prioritizing emotion, connection, and sincerity over performance. My beloved Titusville Singing Seniors, whom I led for 22 years, became a cherished ministry of joy and service. Through them, I witnessed the healing potential of music in the lives of the elderly and the lonely.

Writing my Own Music

In 2005, I began receiving my own songs through spiritual prompting. The music arrived quickly, often in full form, as if delivered directly from spirit. “Come in From the Rain, Boys” became a profound turning point. Written in just 20 minutes, the song came with a calling: to sing on battlefields. When I did, I witnessed light — small, shimmering presences I described as “fireflies” — rising around me as I sang. They were spirits of fallen soldiers responding to the frequency of my voice. It was then I fully understood: my music was a bridge for healing souls.

My album The Divine Blues reflects my life’s journey — the struggles, the awakenings, the divine guidance, and the integration of my gifts. Produced by Eric Brook, the album blends soulful melodies with spiritual storytelling, serving as both a musical experience and a channel of healing frequency.
