Titusville Community Rally to Support Local Singer/Song Writer in Music Video Shoot

(Titusville, FL) - Singer/Song Writer and Author Barbara McGillicuddy to shoot comedic music video launching her new blues song titled "38 Reasons" at the Emma Parrish Theater in Titusville, Florida. Set in a 1920's era bar room in the New Orleans famed area of Storyville, a scorned woman chases her man all across the Delta until she corners him down in the French Quarter.

The filming of the Music Video scheduled for April 5, 2007 has attracted the support of local businesses, talented actors, artists, directors, and prop makers, all pooling their expertise to make this a Titusville community success.

Director and actress Mary Purdy who will portray the bar tender in the video, and is a well respected veteran in the theater business says, "She (McGillicuddy) gets to dress up while I get to play an old hag. An old hag from such a beauty? Oh, well, I'm willing to try anything for this great song and especially for this great gal. I'm thrilled to be a part of it."

Assistant Director Penny Storm says, "The first time that I heard '38 Reasons,' I thought of 38 reasons why it was terrific. I'm excited to be working with such talented people as Barbara and the rest of the cast."

"Events to Go Video" in Cape Canaveral will be filming the video. Co-owner Will Bryan says, "We have one simple goal, 38 million plays on Youtube.com. With such an entertaining song, and the abundance of creativity from the whole cast we are excited and very optimistic we will reach this goal."

"I have been so blessed by my peers," says McGillicuddy. "They have all jumped on the band wagon to assist me in making this dream a reality. It has truly touched my heart that all of these wonderful people believe in me and believe in this song," McGillicuddy shared. "Our intention is to place the video on Youtube.com and watch it sail. In the meanwhile, we will be proudly putting Titusville, Florida and Emma Parrish Theater on the map, showing the world that our beloved home town of Titusville has lots of artistic talent."

Mayor Ron Swank of Titusville said, "Barbara McGillicuddy is such a valuable member of our community and puts her heart and soul into everything she does. She sings the National Anthem and other popular patriotic music for the Astronaut Memorial, The Flag Day celebration, Memorial Day and entertains often for the Boards and Commission's appreciation dinner. Barbara is a blessing to us and she brings people together with her angelic voice."

The latter part of last year McGillicuddy released "Buddie Saves the Day," the beginning series of several children's books.
